Overview

unifont-viewer reads a GNU Unifont .hex file and displays glyphs in blocks of 16 by 16, 256 glyphs per screen with a graphical user interface. The .hex file is selected by opening it with the File > Open menu item or by typing Control-O. After loading a file, a list of "pages" of 256 glyphs will appear in the left-hand column of the window. The first such page of glyphs in the file will appear in the main window.

unifont-viewer supports glyph heights of 16, 24, and 32 pixels. The height of a .hex font file is selected under the File menu. The default selection is Glyph Height 16.

Exit unifont-viewer by selecting File > Exit or by typing Control-X.
