Apply a parameter set to a connect context.

Overview
Applies every set key via its typed setter. An unset key is left untouched, and an explicit reset (empty string) is skipped, since fctx already carries the kernel default either way.
Return
0 on success, -EINVAL if fctx or params is NULL.
