jed-update-startup - updates startup script for JED

Overview

This manual page documents briefly the jed-update-startup command. This is a Debian specific command, related to the new startup strategy for JED.

jed-update-startup is a program that will scan the /etc/jed-init.d directory and create a initialization file /etc/jed-defaults.sl.

It is intended to be called in postinst of packages providing add-on support for JED. Launching it in other situations should be of little interest, unless the file /etc/jed-defaults.sl needs to be regenerated.
