gt-pr-update-branch1
Update the head branch of a pull request with its base branch
Usage
gt pr
update-branch
[{<number> | <url> | <branch>}]
[flags]
Overview
Bring the new commits of the base branch into the head branch of a pull request on Gitea, with a merge commit, or with --rebase by rebasing the head branch onto the base branch, which rewrites it.
Only the branch on Gitea changes; update a local branch of the pull request afterwards with git pull, or after --rebase with git pull --rebase. Gitea cannot update the head of an AGit pull request; push to it instead.
Arguments
A pull request can be supplied as argument in any of the following formats: - by number, such as "13" or "#13" - by URL, such as "https://gitea.com/OWNER/REPO/pulls/13" - by the name of its head branch, such as "feature/login" or "bob:feature/login"; a branch that reads as OWNER/REPO#N, such as "fix/login#2", needs the OWNER:BRANCH form Without an argument, the pull request of the current branch is selected.
