Download an attachment

## NAME

gt-pr-attachment-download - Download an attachment

## SYNOPSIS

**gt pr attachment download {\<number\> \| \<url\>} \<attachment-id\> \[flags\]**

## DESCRIPTION

Download an attachment into the current directory under its own name, or where -O/--output or -D/--dir say. An existing file is kept unless --clobber replaces it or --skip-existing skips the download.

### ARGUMENTS

```
A pull request can be supplied as argument in any of the following formats:
- by number, e.g. "13" or "#13"
- by URL, e.g. "https://gitea.com/OWNER/REPO/pulls/13"
- by repository and number, e.g. "OWNER/REPO#13"
```

## OPTIONS

**--clobber**\[=false\]\
 	Replace an existing file

**-D**, **--dir**=""\
 	Directory to download into

**-h**, **--help**\[=false\]\
 	help for download

**-O**, **--output**=""\
 	File or directory to write to, or - for standard output (default: the download's name)

**--skip-existing**\[=false\]\
 	Keep an existing file and skip the download

## OPTIONS INHERITED FROM PARENT COMMANDS

**--cwd**=""\
 	Working **directory** for repository discovery

**--debug**\[=false\]\
 	Log the method, URL, status, and duration of each HTTP request to stderr

**--host**=""\
 	Gitea instance **URL**, including any base path

**--interactive**\[=false\]\
 	Allow prompts with machine output

**--no-input**\[=false\]\
 	Disable prompts and implicit editor/browser interactions

**--remote**=""\
 	Git **remote** used for repository discovery

**-R**, **--repo**=""\
 	Select a repository as **OWNER/REPO** or URL

**--sudo**=""\
 	Perform API requests as this **user** (requires an administrator account)

**--user**=""\
 	Account **name** on the selected instance

## EXAMPLE

$ gt pr attachment download 13 9
$ gt pr attachment download 13 9 --output crash.log --clobber
# Write the file to standard output
$ gt pr attachment download 13 9 -O - | less
```
