gt-milestone-edit(1)

gt-milestone-edit1

Edit a milestone

Usage

gt milestone edit <milestone> [flags]

Overview

Edit the title, description or due date of a milestone. Without flags on a terminal, a form starts from the current values.

Arguments

A milestone can be supplied by its title, such as "v1.0", or by its ID. A number is an ID
first, then a title; --by-name matches it as a title only.

Json fields

closed_issues, description, due_date, id, open_issues, state, title, url

Options

--by-name[=false]
Match a numeric argument as a milestone title rather than an ID

--deadline=""
Due date: YYYY-MM-DD, RFC3339 or Unix timestamp; only the date counts, as the end of that day in UTC; empty clears it

-d, --description=""
Milestone description

-F, --description-file=""
Read the description from file, or - for stdin

-e, --editor[=false]
Write the description in the configured editor

-h, --help[=false]
help for edit

-t, --title=""
Milestone title

--cwd=""

--debug[=false]
Log the method, URL, status, and duration of each HTTP request to stderr

--host=""

--interactive[=false]

-q, --jq=""

--no-input[=false]
Disable prompts and implicit editor/browser interactions

--remote=""
