Overview
gitcmp is a file compare utility. It outputs to stderr, git catching its error messages this way. gitcmp was designed to be used in $HOME/.gitrc.TERM(git's configuration file) and should not be used as a stand alone program. See also CONFIGURATION FILES in the git manual page.
