euklides(1)

euklides1

An euclidean geometry drawing language compiler.

Usage

euklides [{-v | -h}]

euklides [-f] filename

euk2ps filename

euk2eps filename

Overview

The language Euklides provides simple and powerfull commands for creating elementary euclidean geometry figures. The compiler euklides translates a source file written in this specific language into TeX (pstricks) macrocommands. The result is sent to standard output.
euk2ps and euk2eps are short shell scripts which create a PS or EPS file from an Euklides source file. They simply call euklides, tex, dvips and remove the intermediate files.

Options

-v

Print version number.

-h

Print immediate help.

-f

Run as a filter, in order to compile figures embedded in a TeX source file. In this case, they have to begin with `%--euklides' and end with `%--stop' or `%--end'. The `%--stop' ending tag tells euklides to keep variables in memory for further use. With the `%--end' tag, variables are cleared.

Language
