Fix permissions of files and directories for apache

Usage

apacheckperms [--version] [file-or-directory ...]

Overview

apachechkperms tries to guarantee that the permissions of the files and directories used by the Apache server are right. The files and directories whose permissions will be fixed are either given as file-or-directory arguments on the command-line, or are all the files and directories used by the Apache server that apachechkperms is aware of.

Note that the script is not especially smart and it may eventually use bad permissions; if you are paranoid about permissions, check them by hand.

Options

--version

Print the version of apachemodname and exit.

Caveats and bugs

This release of apachechkperms is really a quick-and-dirty one, and no guarantees are made about the validity of the permissions set by this tool.
