NJB_Adjust_EAX(3)

NJB_Adjust_EAX3

Adjust the eax effects of an njb (including volume).

Usage

#include <libnjb.h>

extern int njb_error

void NJB_Adjust_EAX(njb_t *njb, u_int16_t eaxid, u_int16_t patchindex, int16_t scalevalue )

Library

libnjb

Overview

NJB_Adjust_EAX is used to modify the values of different EAX effects, including volume. The unique eaxid of each effect must first be retrieved using the NJB_Reset_Get_EAX_Type(3) and NJB_Get_EAX_Type(3) functions, which also determines the maximum patchindex and scalevalue values for a certain EAX type.

Parameters

eaxid

This is the unique ID for the EAX effect as returned from NJB_Get_EAX_Type(3). This must be given for each call to the function.

patchindex

This is the index of a selectable patch. For EAX effects that do not have selectable patches, this should be set to 0

scalevalue

This is the scale value to set for an EAX effect that has scaleable values. For EAX effects that do not have scaleable values, this should be set to 0. Observe that this value may be negative!

Remarks

It is possible for a effect to have both selectable patches and scaleable values. In case one or the other is not available, set the corresponding value to 0.
