Returns a pattern that matches news URIs, as defined by \s-1RFC\s0 1738. News URIs have the form:
"news:" ( "*" | group | article "@" host )
Under \*(C`{-keep}\*(C', the following are returned: The complete \s-1URI\s0. The scheme. The part of the \s-1URI\s0 following \*(L"news://\*(R". Returns a pattern that matches \s-1NNTP\s0 URIs, as defined by \s-1RFC\s0 1738. \s-1NNTP\s0 URIs have the form:
"nntp://" host [ ":" port ] "/" group [ "/" digits ]
Under \*(C`{-keep}\*(C', the following are returned: The complete \s-1URI\s0. The scheme. The part of the \s-1URI\s0 following \*(L"nntp://\*(R". The host and port, separated by a colon. If no port was given, just the host. The host. The port, if given. The group. The digits, if given.
