DESCRIPTION

\*(C`Net::Amazon::Property::DVD\*(C' is derived from \*(C`Net::Amazon::Property\*(C' and on top of the all-purpose methods the base class provides, it offers specialized accessors for \s-1DVD\s0 parameters.

\s-1METHODS\s0

title()

Returns the title of the \s-1DVD\s0.

studio()

Returns the studio.

directors()

Returns a list of directors. Note that there's also a director() method only returning the first director.

starring()

Returns the same list as the method actors().

upc()

Returns the \s-1DVD\s0's \s-1UPC\s0 as a string.

media()

Returns the \s-1DVD\s0's media type as a string.

nummedia()

Returns the \s-1DVD\s0's number of media (number of discs) as a string.

theatrical_release_date()

Returns the \s-1DVD\s0's theatrical release date. As of Net::Amazon 0.61 this method has been deprecated. It appears that this information is no longer from Amazon.

mpaa_rating()

Returns the \s-1DVD\s0's \s-1MPAA\s0 rating.

features()

Returns the \s-1DVD\s0's features as a list of strings. Examples: \*(L"Color\*(R", \*(L"Closed-captioned\*(R", \*(L"Widescreen\*(R".

ReleaseDate()

Returns the release date. For historical reasons, this method used to return the theatrical release date. However, as of version Net::Amazon 0.48 the release date is returned, and a separate \*(L"theatrical_release_date()\*(R" method is available. Initializes an object by passing a hash of hashes structure containing the \s-1XML\s0 data returned from the service. Usually, this is just used by \*(C`Net::Amazon\*(C' internally to initialize objects for on backcoming data.

Check out Net::Amazon::Property for all-purpose accessors, like \*(C`year\*(C', \*(C`OurPrice\*(C', \*(C`ListPrice\*(C', etc.
